Who we are
Classic Touch is owned and operated by Andrew Levin, a musician and resident of Clemson, South Carolina. Dr. Levin is a music professor at Clemson University, where he conducts the Symphony Orchestra and teaches such classes as music appreciation, music theory and music technology.
Dr. Levin has loved chamber music for many years, playing his first wedding ceremony while in his teens. In the ensuing 30+ years he has played countless weddings, parties, corporate events, and cocktail hours, as a violist, violinist, and pianist.
Originally from Southern California, Dr. Levin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from California State University, Los Angeles, his Master of Music degree in Conducting and Piano Performance from Rice University in Houston, and his Doctor of Arts in Conducting and Viola Performance from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
Dr. Levin performs as a violist with the Charleston and Greenville Symphony Orchestras, for church services and festivals, and for many weddings. He has also played professionally in Georgia, Indiana, Texas, and California.
The other musicians who play for Classic Touch have similar backgrounds. They have advanced degrees in music performance, play in many of this area's professional orchestras, and have years of chamber music experience and a real love for the genre.
